The Dutch National Ballet: Frida will be performing at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Sunday, July 16th, 2023. This will be an exciting event for ballet fans, as the Dutch National Ballet is one of the most renowned ballet companies in the world. Founded in 1961, the company has a long and distinguished history, and has produced some of the most iconic ballet dancers of our time.
Frida is a ballet that was first performed by the Dutch National Ballet in 1971. It tells the story of the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, and is set to music by Mexican composer Silvestre Revueltas. The ballet is widely considered to be one of the company’s most important works, and has been performed around the world to critical acclaim.
