Los Angeles Opera: Don Giovanni
Don Giovanni, one of the world’s most popular operas, is coming to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
The Los Angeles Opera will be performing this classic work by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Don Giovanni tells the story of the notorious libertine who goes on a rampage of seduction and murder.
This will be a new production of the opera, directed by acclaimed director Peter Sellars. Sellars is known for his modern interpretations of classical works.
The cast for this production of Don Giovanni includes some of the most talented singers in the world. Baritone Simon Keenlyside will be performing the title role. Keenlyside is known for his powerful voice and dramatic stage presence.
