Los Angeles Opera: The Barber of Seville
Los Angeles Opera: The Barber of Seville will be performing at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Thursday November 2nd, 2023. The opera is about a young man named Figaro who works as a barber in Seville, Spain. He is in love with a woman named Rosina, but she is being forced to marry a much older man named Dr. Bartolo. Figaro comes up with a plan to help Rosina escape from Bartolo and elope with him instead.
The opera will be sung in Italian with English subtitles. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online or at the box office. The performance will last approximately two and a half hours with one intermission.
