Los Angeles Opera: Turandot
Los Angeles Opera’s “Turandot” will be performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Thursday, May 30, 2024. The story is set in ancient China and tells the story of Princess Turandot, who has vowed to marry any man who can solve three riddles. Prince Calaf, who is in love with Turandot, solves the riddles and wins her hand in marriage.
This will be a lavish production, with stunning costumes and sets. The music by Giacomo Puccini is some of the most beautiful ever written, and the Los Angeles Opera chorus and orchestra will be sure to do it justice. This is a rare opportunity to see “Turandot” performed live, so don’t miss it!
