Los Angeles Opera: Turandot
Los Angeles Opera is excited to announce that Turandot will be performing at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. This will be a special performance, as it will be the first time that the opera has been performed in the city in over 20 years.
Turandot is one of the most popular operas in the world, and tells the story of a Chinese princess who will only marry a man who can answer three riddles correctly. The opera is full of drama, romance, and some of the most beautiful music ever written.
Los Angeles Opera is one of the leading opera companies in the United States, and has been praised for its innovative productions and commitment to new works. The company was founded in 1986 by Plácido Domingo, and has since produced over 200 operas.
